The late Suharto 1921 - 2008The dismiss of the 'Father of Indonesia'. Despite facing multiple agonizing diseases and organ(s) failure (although the cause of death was inconclusive), the late Suharto passed away yesterday, Sunday 27th January 2008. I managed to watched the news only around 2pm over the satelite and the news was broadcasted all over the local and foreign network headlines / media.
He was charged with an over $500 million worth of corruption and embezzelment charges by the Indonesian government but later dropped due to late president's health issue.
